The San Francisco 49ers are set to face Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals as the NFL regular season is set to end.

Both the teams are not in their best form going into the match. Cardinals are on an 8-record, while last year’s Super Bowl are still lower than them, at the bottom of the NFC West, with a 5-9 record.

As a result, they will miss out on the playoffs this season. Nonetheless, they would like to end the season on a positive note and will have to overcome the Cardinals.

Murray who was instrumental in Cardinals’ form in the early part of the season is a genuine threat to 49ers hopes of winning the game.

Speaking about how to deal with the Cardinals’ quarterback, 49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan said:

“He’s looked good, Jimmy always does when he throws. But we’re trying to be smart with him. We didn’t give him too many of Kyler’s reps, where he had to run around and do stuff like that. But it’s how guys look a lot with high ankle sprains.

“They come back and they look fine. You wouldn’t know what’s wrong. And then they have to do a reaction and you see that something’s there. That’s why we’ve had to be smart with Jimmy.”

In their previous meeting, Cardinals got a narrow 24-20 win. Despite nothing much at state, none of the team is taking the game lightly will do everything to overcome the other to end the season on a high note.
