Speak For Yourself co-host Marcellus Wiley warned the Chiefs that they will need to conscious about avoiding a playoff upset.

Kansas City Chiefs are riding high right now. They are unbeaten in their last 10 games. They won 17-14 against the Atlanta Falcons last weekend and will face Los Angeles Chargers in Week 17.

While they might be considered favorites for the Super Bowl, but they will need to amend some mistakes of the past, said Wiley on the show.

“If you’re the Kansas City Chiefs right now, I would not be shocked if this team after the bye week was one and done in the playoffs…Are there some warning signs that the Chiefs potentially could find themselves in a bad situation and the losing effort in the playoffs?

“Last year we saw them struggle through the playoffs down 10, down 10, down 24 but prevail, because they were the hunter, but now that they’re a hunted, and they’re still playing with fire, how are you so confident that they will prevail in these same situations?”

As the Chiefs look to defend their Super Bowl title, their players, including Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, will need to give their best to ensure this feat.
